Your work is wherever wi-fi is! </p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>Project – the aim you’ll have</strong></p><p>This is the project to allow us process fixed line and mobile broadband orders and the ability to activate billing on broadband activation.</p><p><strong>Position – how you’ll contribute</strong></p><ul><li>You are collaborative and curious but enjoy landing projects that drive real business value. You have a passion for technology and inspire others in the art of writing code and designing systems</li><li>Be involved in leadership and technical direction</li><li>Mentor junior developers in architecture and best coding practises.</li><li>Work closely with the product team to understand business priorities and deliverables</li><li>Full lifecycle Software Development - Design, develop, test, deploy and maintenance of software</li><li>Develop necessary artefacts - models, documentation, flow diagrams etc.</li><li>Maintain existing alarm signalling IoT platforms and develop new technology stacks</li><li>Create and maintain CI / CD pipeline</li><li>Develop and maintain testing framework, process and tools</li><li>Take business requirements and translate into software – both functional and non-functional aspects</li><li>Work closely with other development teams, technical support, and devices/firmware functions</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Expectations – the experience you need</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience of software engineering</li><li>PHP is the leading language for this particular project</li><li>Degree BEng/BSc - Software Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering or relevant technical degree</li><li>Back-end development experience for the role is mandatory; front-end experience is highly desirable.</li><li>Experience in algorithms, architectural principles and patterns.
