Certified Nursing Assistant – Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .6 FTE, day shift opening (7am-7:30pm, 2, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.
Extra Incentives:
- Evening shift differential – $ 2.25 p/hr
- Night shift differential – $4.00 p/hr

In this position you will:
- Contribute to a high functioning team
- Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights
- Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests
- Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices
- Opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including annual CNA conference
- Other duties as assigned
Performs basic nursing functions and other duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training - Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
- Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year - General hospital experience.
- 1 year - Experience as a CNA 2.
