About the role
Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP, an AmLaw 100 firm, seeks a full-time Practice Support Assistant working remotely from the San Francisco Bay area. This is an entry-level position that would assist in organizing, filing and scanning documents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize, scan and electronically file in the document management system
- Review litigation specific documents for entry and tracking in various database platforms
- Prepare word processing work including, but not limited to, memos, letters and charts
- Perform data entry work in various databases
- Perform duties based on the needs of the supervisor, including administrative work and special projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a high school diploma; college degree is preferred.
- Law firm experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Must have strong typing skills, accurate proofreading skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to take direction, ask questions and work independently with minimal supervision, where appropriate.
- A team-oriented attitude is essential.
- The candidate should possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The candidate must be highly organized, have exceptional follow-through, be detail-oriented, and possess a professional demeanor and a positive, respectful attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel and preferably a document management system such as Worksite.
- Experience working with electronic databases.
Compensation: The estimated salary range for this role for 1-16 years’ experience is $51,000 - $96,000. Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
