Your Specific Responsibilities: This position provides administrative support for health department functions at Baker County Health Department. This position is based in Baker County. Position includes functioning as purchasing agent for DOH-Baker including but not limited to inputting purchase requests, ensuring compliance with purchasing guidelines, acting as backup receiver of goods. Position will act as fleet manager, ensuring vehicles are maintained and facilitating vehicle calendar. Position will act as liaison between the DOH-Baker and the county to facilitate facility maintenance. This position requires that the candidate have experience with multi-line phone systems. Have knowledge and expertise with front desk duties such as, but not limited to registering patients, making, and confirming appointments, collecting, and scanning patient documents. Have strong experience in customer service (including addressing client concerns, helping dissatisfied clients, facilitating communication between clients and staff members). Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge and experience with clerical duties in an office setting. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Qualifications: Minimum: A current Florida Department of Health Employee. Experience with computers. Preferred: Experience with purchasing.
