JOB TITLE: Electrical Engineer – Industrial Control
ABOUT THE JOB:
We are seeking two Electrical Engineers to support material handling equipment and electrical panel design efforts. These contract roles are designed to fill immediate gaps in our engineering team due to increased workload and recent staff transitions. Ideal candidates will work closely with existing engineers, contributing to project execution while gaining exposure to our client’s systems and processes.

Ideal candidates will work closely with existing engineers, contributing to project execution while gaining exposure to our client’s systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Specify, design, and test material handling equipment and electrical panels for warehouse applications
- Use AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical to create and modify electrical schematics and assembly drawings
- Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to develop and improve industrial control systems
- Assist in the creation of bills of materials (BOMs) and ensure accurate documentation of electrical components
- Collaborate with senior engineers as a technical support resource and grow into an independent contributor
- Follow established engineering guidelines and report to a local manager for day-to-day direction
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field (2-year degree with strong experience also be considered)
- 3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering for Industrial Control Systems and/or Electrical Panel Design
- Familiarity with Industrial Control Systems and Electrical Component Identification
- Experience Creating/Modifying Electrical Schematics and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Electrical Engineering experience in an Industrial or Manufacturing Environment
- Experience with Oracle
