What you'll do...

About the Team: The Global Audit Data Analytics Team, part of Global Technology Audit, is dedicated to supporting Audit team members and business partners to identify, understand, and mitigate risk to Walmart and our commitment to delivering value to customers so they can save money and live better.

What you’ll do:

  • You will leverage your skills and knowledge to plan and execute data analytics projects to support Global Audit.

  • Lead delivery of analytics products, tools, and support

  • Build and propose project plans through data discovery, exploration, analysis, and visualization/reporting

  • Develop and create database solutions with a focus on automation

  • Develop and deliver training materials on data analytics, data quality and governance, and other data topics

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience with querying, cleaning, and transforming data using SQL, python and tools like Big Query, PowerBI, Tableau, and MS Visual Studio Code.

  • You have developed meaningful metrics and reports for an executive audience to inform and drive action

  • You can identify root causes of problems and brainstorm data solutions to address and solve problems

You’ll sweep us off our feet if:

  • 2 years' experience using data analytics coding languages like SQL and python

  • 2 years' experience using visualization tools including PowerBI and/or Tableau

Minimum Qualifications:

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.

Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Option 3: 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
