OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEWZeroFox seeks an outcomes-driven Senior Product Manager to join our cyber threat intelligence product team in innovating new solutions that protect customers from a constantly evolving array of threats being launched from external digital channels such as the dark web, geopolitical, phishing campaigns, and social media. ZeroFox is a leader and innovator in digital risk protection and threat intelligence services. In this role, you’ll be working alongside talented engineers, product managers, data scientists, threat researchers, product marketers, and security professionals in the business to disrupt and dismantle the cyber kill chain. 
As a Senior Product Manager, you will work across multiple functions, partnering  with Sales and Sales Engineering to gather requirements from customers, collaborating with Services to ensure our products are meeting customer needs and working with Product Marketing to launch new and upgraded offerings. As a subject matter expert, the company will look to you to create and maintain a high impact roadmap that is aligned with ZeroFox’s strategic vision for the platform. You will need to balance feature requests, competitive challenges, innovation, analyst commentary, and market signals to create and execute on a roadmap that ensures ZeroFox customers are protected against a constantly changing array of security threats. 

Role and responsibilities

  • Maintain a vision for the product and the company, based on research of customers, competitors, and analysts.
  • Communicate the vision and roadmap with stakeholders, customers, and analysts. 
  • Prioritize the roadmap based on input from stakeholders such as customers, Sales, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and ZeroFox Executives.
  • Manage execution on each Engineering sprint, working with Engineering to clearly articulate requirements and monitor progress throughout each sprint. 
  • Drive execution inline with the company’s rapid customer growth. 
  • Create and maintain metrics to measure the product’s success  in delivering value to customers.

Required qualifications and skills

  • Domain Experience: You have a background in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strategic Thinker: You have a track record that demonstrates the ability to think strategically about solutions to high value customer problems, and to create compelling artifacts that convey that vision to stakeholders in the company, to customers and to the market at large. 
  • Data-Driven Mindset: You must possess a high level of data literacy, building a strategic product plan that addresses all aspects of the product life cycle: initial requirements gathering, competitive positioning, design, development, packaging, pricing, launch and continuous improvement.
  • Being the CEO of your product: You are accountable for  the success of your product, building champions for your product both inside and outside of the company. You are expected to be a domain expert and a valuable resource for both customers and ZeroFox staff.  
  • Curiosity: You must possess an ongoing curiosity about topics relevant to your job and always ask questions such as, ‘Where is the market going?’, ‘What do customers really need?’, ‘What makes a good product?’, ‘What makes a good requirement?’Never stop learning. 
  • Judgment:You will be responsible for critical decision making, impacting all areas of the company's strategy and direction. Accordingly, you will be expected to demonstrate excellent judgment when committing company resources. 
  • Detail orientation: You are an expert at preventing critical details from falling through the cracks; keeping track of individual feature requests and bug fixes, knowing the product inside and out and having detailed knowledge of what stories on which sprints will fix a key bug reported by a critical customer. Communication: You must be able to speak and write well. Writing succinctly is essential for creating clear requirements for Engineering. You must also convince others and advocate for your point of view but be capable of gathering input from others. Listening is as important for communication as speaking. As a global company, you must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Leadership: When something needs to be done, the Product Manager is often the catalyst to go and do it. You must work with others at multiple organizational levels to make your vision a reality. You must inspire others with your understanding of customer needs and your vision for the marketplace.
