Description:CTI is seeking an experienced TS/SCI polygraph cleared Lead Vulnerability Researcher (VR) / Reverse Engineer (RE) to join our team.
The day-to-day:As a Lead Vulnerability Researcher (VR) / Reverse Engineer (RE) you will perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, to ascertain functionality, capability, call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise. Utilize strong malware and analysis experience.
The qualifications (required):· Must be a US Citizen· Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph· Bachelor of Science in a technical degree (Science/Technology/Engineering/Math). This education requirement may be substituted for an additional four (04) years' experience in VR / RE / Exploit Development for a total of fourteen (14) or more years of VR / RE / Exploit Development.· Technical experience preferred:o VR and RE ten (10) yearso Vulnerability Analysis three (03 years)o Exploit Development three (03 years)o Reverse Engineer three (03 years)o In-depth understanding of exploit mitigations such as address space layout randomization (ASLR), data execution prevention (DEP), return oriented programming (ROP) three (03 years)o In-depth knowledge of Linux and Android kernels, SELinux/SEAndroid three (03 years)o Low-level operating systems experience for Android (Could be Linux background) three (03 years)o Linux/Android kernel development three (03 years)o Reduced Instruction Set Computer assembly three (03 years)o Reverse Engineering (Using tools such as IDA Pro, Binary Ninja and Ghidra) three (03 years) The nice-to-haves (desired, not required):· Network+, Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Microsoft Networking, Computer Network Administrator (CNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), Certified Ethical Hacking, and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).The benefits package:
