The Role
The Honest Company is seeking an Finance Associate Manager, Operating Unit that will be a business partner to the Operating Unit teams. The role is responsible for providing insightful analysis and building out the forecasting and reporting capabilities that support commercial decision making. The ideal candidate provides financial acumen, operational understanding, and leadership skills to guide the business toward sustainable profitability and growth.
What You’ll Do
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Execute the annual budget and periodic forecasts with a focus on topline volume/sales and marketing spend.
- Provide in-depth analysis of financial results, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations to optimize revenue, margin, and marketing spend performance.
Financial Governance & Reporting
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting for the Operating Units.
- Maintain compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and external regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and data quality.
Business Partnership
- Partner with commercial teams to support innovation, pricing, investments, and other commercial decisions.
- Build financial capabilities across the business, promoting financial literacy among non-finance managers.
- Encourage innovation and best practices within the finance organization.
What You’ll Need
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of finance experience, preferably with experience in Finance Planning & Analysis and consumer goods
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent analytical skills and experience improving reporting and processes
- Solid business acumen and understanding of P&L management
- Experience with business planning, such as demand (volume) or financial planning
- Strong communication and business partnership skills
- Proficiency in financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Hyperion and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills
- Ability to navigate change and adapt in a dynamic operating environment
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
Compensation
The pay range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. Actual compensation is based on many factors including but not limited to depth of experience, skill level, ability, knowledge, education, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total rewards package for this position may also include base, annual incentive plan, benefits, retirement plan, equity, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
