About the role

MAJOR FUNCTION

Position Responsibilities

Includes but is not limited to

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with benign and malignant breast conditions
  • Manage patients across the continuum of care, including diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship
  • Perform pre-operative evaluations and provide patient education and counseling
  • Conduct in-office procedures, including incision and drainage (I&D) and breast aspiration
  • Screen high-risk patients and facilitate genetic testing and counseling referrals
  • Counsel patients on breast cancer risk reduction strategies and chemoprevention options
  • Coordinate referrals to supportive services, including lymphedema therapy and physical therapy
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Position Experience Required

Prefer experience in surgical oncology or breast surgery 

 Position Qualifications (details here or list below)

- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program

- Current Nurse Practitioner license in NJ

- Active NJ CDS and DEA license

- BLS certification
