We are looking for students who want to develop their careers in an environment where their work truly makes a difference and has a lasting impact.We are hiring a Learning and Development Summer Student for a full-time paid internship located at Glendale, AZ.In this role, you will be accountable for the development, and implementation of technical training curriculum and learning products. The position redevelops learning, curriculum, and technology solutions including, eLearning, graphics using best practices in instructional design and guidance from subject matter experts. What you’d be responsible for: • Curriculum Development – Redevelop modern learning products, programs, and materials tailored to various audiences with consideration to appropriate delivery methods. Ensure alignment with legislative and corporate standards and EPCOR’s compliance and conformance training requirements.• Instructional Design - Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME), industry peers, and advisors; translate requirements into appropriate training solutions as required (i.e. classroom, eLearning, blended learning, video, animation, or other learning products).• Writing - Present technical information in a clear and concise manner based on the audience. Facilitate and coordinate content reviews. Edit documents following standards and company branding as required.• Customer Service - Meet or exceed clients' needs by maintaining a business focus, using adult learning principles, involving subject matter experts, and using best practices in training design to deliver meaningful, integrated learning products.• Tracking and Reporting – Upload training to LMS and subscribe employees to required training modules. • Demonstrate a high-performance, high-discipline, safe, accountable, focused, innovative, and • Safety - Maintain a healthy, safe and accident-free work environment achievement-oriented manner of working. - Currently enrolled in Design or Media Program, Communications, Training Development, Health and Safety program, Adult Learning Program, or recent graduate
- Basic knowledge of Design, Instructional Design or Health and Safety.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day starting in May 2025
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Proficiency in eLearning tools (Articulate), Adobe Creative Suite, MS Suite
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
