Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic (OBCC) has locations in Othello and the Central District. Services at the clinics include pediatric medical care, behavioral health, dental services, nutrition, sports medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy and more. Since 1970, OBCC has worked to uphold the vision of community organizer Odessa Brown: to bring quality healthcare with dignity to children from birth to young adulthood in the Central District and south Seattle.
The Senior Registration Coordinator is a tenured Registration Coordinator who delivers excellent customer service. Assumes all responsibilities of the Registration Coordinator with demonstrated performance at a higher level of independence, serving as a role model for team members, new hires, and Hospital visitors. Takes initiative and possesses leadership qualities that enable them to serve as a point of contact for all registration partners and will be in direct communication with key stakeholders to drive innovation and collaboration. Actively participate in orienting new hires. Responsible for registering and scheduling accurate and timely appointments and providing an excellent customer experience for Seattle Children's patients and families and clinical partners. Is a member of a registration team, with a primary location at either the Hospital or a Regional Clinic location. Will be first point of contact for patients and families arriving for outpatient care at our facilities, and provide valuable information and reassurance to families.
Required Education and Experience
Minimum one year in the role of Registration Coordinator at Seattle Children’s. Demonstrated success using computers and registration tools with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Meets/models all performance and service level values (Compassion, Collaboration, Equity, Innovation, Excellence, Integrity) expectations of the Registration Coordinator role. (Supervisor/Manager must approve/attest to performance levels such as consistently autonomous, proactive, modeling of excellent performance, and quality work.).

Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum of three years experience working in a health care setting or related field. Significant experience working with the general public in a health care/customer service environment. Familiarity with other cultures/bilingual skills.
Compensation Range
$23.15 - $37.16 per hourSalary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
