Would you like to be part of our team?</p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p>We are now looking for a senior accountant for our local accounting team in Stockholm. The Local Swedish accounting team is responsible for keeping the books correct, being updated according to local laws and regulations, and following H&amp;M group rules. We are responsible for assuring that the financial reporting keeps up with the high pace and transformation of the H&amp;M Group.</p><p><strong>Your responsibilities will be but not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Generating and ensuring the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting.</li><li>Responsible for financial information in the lease abstracting system, checking and doing internal controls to ensure proper calculations.</li><li>Responsible for all rent-related items: reconciliations, accruals, monthly turnover calculations, sales reports for turnover rent etc. Collaborating with the expansion and legal team, sharing, and resolving issues.</li><li>Perform intercompany transactions and reporting.</li><li>Tracking and performing routines for fixed assets bookings and depreciation calculations.</li><li>Financial statements, tax declarations, and other statutory reporting.</li><li>Initiate and carry out general ledger bookings.</li><li>Develop processes and routines within your responsibilities in line with future transitions.</li><li>Align and provide training to local stakeholders on accounting routines and make sure that it is correct and legally compliant.</li><li>Communicate and report to external auditors.</li><li>Work together and report to the accounts manager in a professional and efficient way and assist with ad hoc reporting.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Just like everyone at H&amp;M, we believe you are a sales-minded, open-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. To be a successful candidate we also see that you: </p><ul><li>Have a degree in Business Administration &amp; Economics (or equivalent)</li><li>Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.</li><li>Experience with year-end-end closing procedures and annual reports according to both IFRS and K3.</li><li>Fluent English skills, both in speech and writing</li><li>Good MS Office skills and experience in SAP and Tango Analytics is an advantage.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and an ability to plan, execute, prioritize, and follow deadlines.</li><li>Passion for problem-solving, process improvement, drive and openness to implementing change.</li><li>Process competence, understand impact both from an accounting perspective as well as a business perspective combined with interest and competence in how business systems work.</li><li>Are a skilled communicator that likes to involve yourself in discussions with people from other functions or cultures.</li></ul><p><strong>We offer</strong> a challenging role with the opportunity to influence the ways of working within Local Accounting.
