I. Job Summary 
Provide technical and mechanical support to WM’s Landfill Gas-to-RNG Plants. Provide management oversight to the plant operations and ensures consistency in safety, compliance and standard operating procedures. 

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and environmental compliance     
  Responsible for administering Waste Management Renewable Energy (WMRE) operations policies     
  Assists the plant manager with coordinating major repairs     
  Perform minimum monthly visits to each plant     
  Perform quarterly inspections of facilities to ensure facility compliance with WMRE operating standards     
  Administers performance goals to plant managers while consistently monitoring progress towards goals     
  Train and support plant personnel on proper operation, maintenance and safety procedures for all plant equipment.     
  Oversees daily activity of plant managers     
 

III. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. Must Live and Work in the US.

A. Education and Experience 
 

Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited)     
  Experience: Five (5) years of relevant work experience, with at least two (2) years in a managerial/supervisory role    Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead teams and projects 
  • Previous experience  in RNG Plant setting 
  • HVAC/Gas Compression
  • Knowledge of gas quality conditioning/treatment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
     

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements 
 

None required.     
 

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required 
 

Experience operating Caterpillar engines that utilize landfill gas as a fuel source, electric power generation from reciprocating engines, diagnosing paralleling switchgear. This should include reading schematics and ability to trace circuits.    
  Must be able to travel 70% with overnight stays.     
  Extensive knowledge of operating and maintenance procedures of RNG Plant    The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S.  is $_90,100 -$134,665.  This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.  The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for  bonus.
