Our recovery support team plays a vital role in helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety and stability. We are currently seeking an Evening Program Director to support our team and ensure high standards of care and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for hiring, training, and retaining Recovery Support staff.
  • Supervises the activities of overnight Recovery Support Specialists in collaboration with the Program Director.
  • Monitors RSS staff providing safety checks through the shift, completes documentation, completes Incident Reports, monitors patient's activities and records patient behavior.
  • Supports the ongoing coaching and supervision of RSS including but not limited to:
    • Safety checks
    • Shift Exchange
    • Realtime supervisions
    • Group registration
    • Downtime rounds
  • Collaborates with the Staffing Coordinator to ensure all shifts are appropriately covered.
  • Conducts RSS equipment audit ensuring required equipment is available for evening on oncoming staff.
  • Provides shift report to the Overnight Program Manager, noting any patient or staff concerns.
  • Reviews patient rounding reports daily and communicates information to the RSS team.
  • Conducts reviews of incident reports daily or on required cadence per Quality Improvement (QI).
  • Performs weekly rounding audits with the Leadership Team to ensure patient safety and staff compliance with rounding policies and procedures.
  • Assists in monitoring QI indicators to ensure high-quality care is provided.
  • Understands the principles of 12-step Programs, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) and how they apply to the recovery process of the addicted client.
  • Collaborate with Program Director to maintain on call responsibility as assigned to ensure appropriate staffing, patient safety, and high-quality care is maintained at all times.
  • Works with Nurse Manager to streamline the patient admissions process and ensure quality of care at all touchpoints.
  • Other duties as assigned by Program Director, Director of Nursing or CEO

Qualifications:

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Required: One years' experience working with addiction/behavioral health services required.
  • Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • Strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets and presentations (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Prior supervisory experience in a substance abuse/behavioral health facility required
  • Experience managing small, cohesive teams preferred.
  • Always demonstrates appropriate confidentiality when interacting with patients, residents, families, visitors, referral sources and all other contacts.
  • Exhibits excellent customer relation skills as evidenced by supportive and constructive communication with all contacts including coworkers, patients, residents, visitors, families, and referral sources.
