National - Indirect Unclaimed Property Services Tax Associate Analyst - SDC - San Antonio FY25

Join our globally integrated team of dedicated indirect tax professionals and you’ll have the opportunity to combine your technical knowledge and industry understanding to identify risks and sustainable planning opportunities for our clients. You’ll help us provide effective processes, improve day-to-day reporting, reduce attribution errors and costs, and ensure indirect taxes are handled correctly for our clients.

Your key responsibilities

You’ll spend much of your time engaging execution and delivery of unclaimed property asset recovery engagements, including assisting in identifying, securing, and recovering assets for our clients.  We’ll look to you to develop strong relationships with our clients and team effectively with internal resources.  You can expect to be working in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is an essential part of the role.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, government, or business administration,
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and an aptitude for learning database management
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to change and able to meet deadlines
  • A desire to be a part of a team in a high-paced environment
  • Comfortable with client interaction and communications
  • Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment

 

Ideally (but not required), you’ll also have

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant unclaimed property recovery experience, or working in the financial services or accounting industry, or for a government agency
  • Technical expertise and experience related to filing unclaimed property and/or refund claims with government agencies
