Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer IV to be based in Honolulu, Hawaii.
This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team.
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
- Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
- Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
- Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
- Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- Prepares technical specification sections.
- Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
- Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.
- Present design solutions to AECOM project teams.
- Collaborate with other team members.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- PE license in Civil Engineering
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Arc GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models
- Extensive work experience with engineering firms, contractors, or government agencies involved in design, construction, or management of Water Resources, Site Development, Transportation, Stormwater, Wastewater or other general civil-related projects.

- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
- We are interested in every qualified candidate eligible to work in the United States. Permanent residency sponsorship is available for current H1-B visa holders in the United States.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices when public transportation is not available. Selected candidate will undergo a Motor Vehicle Records review.
- This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in-office work in Honolulu, Hawaii. The selected candidate must be available to work in Honolulu, Hawaii on a scheduled basis.
- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range is $80,756.40 - $115,077.87 annually (exempt).
