PURPOSE

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the candidate experience and ensuring the seamless execution of the Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel recruitment process. By supporting the Talent Acquisition Partners and acting as the liaison for the candidate, this role is essential in cultivating a positive and efficient journey from the interview phase through to successful onboarding, making a meaningful impact on attracting and welcoming top talent to our organization.

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates, ensuring timely and efficient coordination and follow-ups. Administer applicant testing when required, ensuring a fair process.
  • Candidate Experience and Onboarding: Create a positive candidate experience by managing the candidate journey and serving as the host from the interview stage through to onboarding. Promote a positive and timely onboarding experience for new hires, providing support for New Hire Orientation and ensuring continuous follow-up and communication with potential new hires.
  • Pre-Employment Process Management: Oversee comprehensive, timely, pre-employment procedures, including conducting reference checks, coordinating drug tests, managing uniform fittings, and facilitating fingerprinting to ensure compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Interface with internal resources and external vendors regarding pre-employment requirements such as background checks, fingerprinting, and drug tests, and manage all transfer and promotion processes. 
  • Systems Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Ensure all documentation is thorough and uploaded accurately into the appropriate systems, maintaining privacy and confidentiality in compliance and regulations.
  • Event Coordination: Help organize and participate in recruitment events such as career fairs, open houses, and campus recruiting activities, coordinating logistics and preparing materials.
  • Team Member Referral and Bonus Programs: Administer and promote the Team Member Referral and Hiring Bonus programs, including tracking and ensuring timely processing of bonuses.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the recruitment process for efficiency and effectiveness, staying updated on industry best practices and trends in talent acquisition.
  • Front Desk Support: Provide assistance in covering front desk duties during staff shortages, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Other Responsibilities: Stay current on casino and hospitality information and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience in a recruitment or administrative assistance role.
  • Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Organizational: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
