We're looking for a bold individual who can thrive in an Agile environment! You will drive strategic outcomes through meaningful innovation programs across multiple fields. This includes being responsible for the development and application of advanced techniques and algorithms to improve our ad network. You have, or will develop, a deep understanding of the ad network behavior. This means working with business and engineering leadership to develop and prioritize an innovation roadmap across multiple technical domains. You'll own the function that conceives of, develops, and delivers innovative capabilities that differentiate our products that are core to our business! We are looking for an outstanding hands-on machine learning (ML) manager who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role you'll be responsible fore the strategy and development of our retrieval system and strategy which matches users to our with our Ads. You will work closely with Product Management partners to build a roadmap and lead teams to propose, design and analyze new algorithms; detect meaningful data patterns and signals while adhering to our strict privacy policies; measuring user, campaign and app performance; and finally analyzing the results of substantial large-scale experiments. Your ability to be an extraordinary teammate under tight deadline constraints is key to success.

Description

- You will lead our matching teams where you will be responsible for creating retrieval systems (online and offline) that will optimized for user interaction and platform performance - You will oversee the design or our retrieval systems and work hand in hand with our Engineering teams to develop a scalable architecture that will allow our business to scale while maintaining our SLAs - You'll work across several Engineering and Business teams to scale your deliverables and bring an improved user experience and monetization potential to our platform - You have excellent understanding of scalable architectures including operational concerns

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years applying and leading teams that apply sophisticated statistical/ML methods and work with large, complex data sets
4+ years experience building information retrieval systems in ads or search context
Experience in some of the following domains: Algorithms, Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Deep Neural Networks, Distributed Systems, Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Statistics
Applicable understanding of mathematics behind modern machine learning, linear algebra and statistics
Hands on experience developing & supervising Python or Java production code
You're familiar with databases, SQL, and scripting languages
Proven track record to take requirements from design through to implementation both independently and with larger teams
You actively manage performance of the team reporting to you and take ownership to drive its outcome
Experience developing and implementing ad algorithms, yield optimization solutions and marketplace data analyses within an ad network
Masters or equivalent experience in AI/ML/Mathematics/CS or related field
