Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Director, GM for the Manufacturing Industry. The GM will set the vision and product strategy of ServiceNow specific to the Manufacturing Industry and be responsible for leading inbound PM for Industry Product.  This executive will work cross-functionally within the product organization across Industry outbound PM, engineering, design, and business operations to bring Industry Products to market and commercial success. This role will focus on Industry Product as well as the full ServiceNow product portfolio as it pertains to the Manufacturing Industry.  The GM will work cross-functionally across ServiceNow with Industry Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, Industry Sales and Presales, and Alliances.  This is an opportunity to operate an industry business globally, while working collaboratively to execute the vision and strategy across multiple  resources. This position reports to the SVP, Industries. 

What you get to do in this role:  

  • Establish the vision, strategy and investment needed for ServiceNow specific to the Manufacturing Industry, and present the multi-year strategy to ServiceNow executive team. 

  • Own execution of the short- and long-term “build” (including purpose-built products or industry solutions), “buy” and “partner” strategies associated with the broader ServiceNow the Manufacturing Industry strategy. 

  • Drive aggressive revenue growth through thoughtful product investments which accelerate product market fit. Advocate for Engineering and GTM resourcing to execute your vision and product strategy. 

  • Closely collaborate with GTM teams such as Product and Industry Marketing as well as Sales,  Presales, and Alliances to deliver world class GTM content and execution. 

  • Closely collaborate with ServiceNow’s Partner Organization to align the right partners such as advisory, sell-with, implementation and technology. 

  • Work closely with Industry sales teams to accelerate opportunities.  Meet directly with prospective and existing customers. 

  • Expand and improve a world-class team, while ensuring the hungry and humble corporate culture is reinforced. 

  • Lead inbound product management while partnering with cross functional teams to formulate product strategy and execute product roadmap. 

  • Influence   horizontal   products   and   platform   roadmaps to better serve the Manufacturing Industry.

  • Work with ISV and SI partners to complement product roadmap and bring holistic solutions to market for the Manufacturing Industry.

  • Track competitive landscape and industry trends and re-adjust as necessary to maintain product differentiation.  

  • Drive product adoption with early customers and stay closely plugged into customer, partner, and field feedback, to improve product and drive product roadmap. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 8+ years of enterprise application product management experience – at least 5 years in SaaS. 

  • 6+ years of experience working in or associated to the Manufacturing Industry.
