Special Financing Product Manager

 

Join our team as a Special Financing Product Manager, where you will be responsible for the servicing and management of our Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) and Construction-to-Permanent Financing (One-Time Close) products. This critical role involves developing and maintaining policies, procedures, processes, controls, coordination strategies, performance metrics, reporting, and vendor oversight.

 

Responsibilities:

• HELOC Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for HELOC products, overseeing the HELOC sub-servicer during the interim period and managing loans until transfer to a permanent servicer. Collaborate with Closing, Servicing, and Accounting teams throughout the sale and transfer process. Manage daily loan and process-level activities and controls, coordinate and reconcile draw activities, and resolve loan-level escalations. Oversee contract management, sub-servicer performance, and invoice approvals.

• Construction-to-Permanent Financing Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for Construction-to-Permanent Financing products, overseeing the sub-servicer during the interim period and managing loans until transfer. Collaborate with Closing, Servicing, and Accounting teams. Manage daily loan and process-level activities and controls, coordinate and reconcile draw activities, and resolve loan-level escalations. Oversee contract management, sub-servicer performance, and invoice approvals. Manage Construction-to-Permanent Financing loans through modification, sale, and transfer to the final investor and servicer.

• Additional Responsibilities: Cross-train to support Cash Department and Investor Reporting teams. Conduct ad-hoc research, audits, and special projects. Proactively contribute to team and company goals, fostering a positive work environment aligned with company values.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in financial services
• 5+ years of experience in mortgage servicing (ICE MSP preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in project or vendor management
• 5+ years of experience with HELOC products
• 5+ years of experience with Construction-to-Permanent Financing
• 3+ years of experience in loan origination
• Strong knowledge of current business practices and mortgage servicing best practices
• Excellent organizational and workflow management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree (Accounting preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, think critically, research and interpret information, problem-solve, and make sound business decisions.
