Position Overview

As a Server at Azalea’s, you’ll be the face of our restaurant. You’ll provide attentive, upbeat service to hotel guests, conference attendees, and local diners. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and warmly, creating a positive first impression


Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently


Deliver meals and drinks in a timely manner


Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and hotel offerings


Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly set


Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions responsibly


Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff


Provide exceptional service to all guests, including conference groups and hotel travelers


Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Holiday Inn brand standards


Assist with opening, closing, and side‑work duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous serving experience preferred, but not required


Strong communication and customer service skills


Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts


Positive attitude and professional appearance


Must be at least 18 years old


Ability to stand and walk for extended periods


Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
