The Senior Manager, Business Architecture is responsible for define how the organizations people, processes, information and technology work together to deliver cell therapy products with the best cost, quality and turnaround time to meet patient needs. They will collaborate with representatives across clinical, technical, supply chain, and quality functions to identify needs and align on a future state business model which they will deliver.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business architecture strategy development and implementation for CAR-T therapies
Establish cross-functional governance frameworks to align on performance objectives, resolve systemic challenges, and prioritize strategic investments
Influence leadership across Commercial, Technical Operations, Quality, and IT, integrating business priorities into scalable process and system designs
Lead all aspects of end-to-end traceability between enterprise systems, SOPs, work instructions, and business processes, ensuring clarity, compliance, and consistency.
Define and evolve indicators and performance metrics in collaboration with Commercial and Operations leadership to monitor business performance, customer experience, and system health at both the operational and executive levels.
Deliver a refined, end-to-end CAR-T process map that integrates clinical workflows, technology touchpoints, Engineering DPFDs and compliance requirements and provides input into an IT Execution Plan.
Establish standardized process documentation architecture, including SOP linkage, work instructions, systems, and change control alignment across platforms.
Develop and implement a governance model for process ownership, change prioritization, and experience-led process improvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
Experience and Skills:
Required
Minimum eight (8) years of experience in process design, operational excellence, or end-to-end business process management within complex, highly regulated environments (e.g., Biopharma, MedTech, supply chain).
Proven success leading cross-functional process development and governance efforts.
Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into operational models, indicators, and system requirements that support scale, compliance, and customer experience.
Strong understanding of systems architecture, digital tools, and interfaces (e.g., MES, LIMS, ERP, customer portals), and how they intersect with business process execution.
