Amazon.com Global Finance Operations (FinOps) seeks a Sr. Finance Manager to lead the consolidated planning for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including 3YF, OP1, OP2, R&O’s and Goal Reporting. This position will partner with the FinOps FP&A teams, FinOps leadership and Corporate FP&A to develop and enhance planning processes, creating scale and efficiencies in reporting and providing a world-class customer experience. Responsibilities will include driving planning/budgeting discipline and deliverables as well as driving innovation and adoption of system and process enhancements to improve analysis, insights, accuracy, agility and controllership across the team. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize effectively to ensure timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Managing standard communication and deadlines across the team for 3YF, OP1, OP2 and R&O
§ Partnering with Corporate FP&A to ensure work-back schedules are aligned and deliverables are met, while standardizing and/or automating FinOps reporting
§ Managing and enhancing the deliverables for the FinOps monthly business review
§ Creating standardized processes for FinOps headcount, goal tracking/reporting and investment requests
§ Performing deep dive analysis on existing processes and developing efficient/time-saving solutions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Basic Qualifications
- 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools experience
- 10+ years of positions that require analysis and reporting financial results experience
- 5+ years of driving reporting process improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience
- MBA, or CPA
