Job Description
Under general supervision provides:
- Clerical, business, and information management
- Respond to patients, visitors and co-workers in a pleasant, helpful and professional manner.
- Responsible for the medical secretarial duties
- Completes other duties as assigned by the Office Manager
Qualifications
Skills and Ability:
- Always maintain appropriate professional conduct and appearance, follows office dress code consistently.
- Complete work in an established time frame, seek appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed or pace is slow.
- Demonstrate willingness to perform other duties to assist the team effort for the benefit of the patients, physicians and fellow team members.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, physicians, patients, and customers.
- Ability to utilize a computer and fax machine required
- Ability to work with simple mathematical concepts
- Consistently arrives at work on time and completes all tasks or arranges for coverage before leaving for the day or lunch.
- Maintain desk and business areas in a professional, neat manner.
Physical Demands:
- Will work in a clean, well-lighted environment.
- Requires sitting approximately 80% of the time, walking and standing 20% of the time and requires occasional bending and reaching and carrying of reports weighing up to 10 lbs. 20% of the time.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year’s experience of previous customer service or have completed an accredited or approved Administrative Assistant program with the last 12-months required
- Previous healthcare or medical experience is preferred
- Medical Terminology preferred

- Full Time; Days (8am-4:30pm)
- Pay Range: $17.19-$25.99
