Salary: $96,500 - $114,500/year

Responsibilities:
- Work under Resident Engineer’s direction to manage/monitor infrastructure project compliance with plans/specifications/contracts/state & local regulations, resolving discrepancies as needed
- Review blueprints/design drawings, create as-built documentation & implement site plans per specifications requirements
- Conduct field inspections to monitor progress & ensure adherence to NYSDOT standards/construction specifications/safety protocols
- Manage bridge rehabilitation projects, including overseeing structural repairs, such as strengthening bridge structural steel & painting
- Develop/validate construction cost estimates, negotiate change orders, reconcile budgets & maintain financial oversight
- Prepare/implement project schedules, including timelines/time extensions & provide progress reports/workflow updates to stakeholders
- Produce detailed technical reports, manage contract documentation & provide technical guidance
- Perform value engineering, implement project optimizations & prepare closeout documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 1-year of experience managing complex construction and infrastructure projects
- Extensive knowledge of bridge design/construction/repair
- Strong skills in cost estimation, as-built drawings creation, structural analysis, blueprints & design drawings reading/interpretation
- Familiar with NYSDOT standards & specifications & ASTM/AASHTO/FHWA guidelines
- Proficient in MS Office/Visio/AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Staad Pro/Primavera P6/MS Project/Procore
