OnsiteRTX Aerospace Mission Systems is seeking a temporary professional to train new hire(s) and other team members to proficiently perform system integration, test, and verification both in the contractor’s lab and in the field at the customer’s facility, which includes aboard US Naval surface ships in port and at-sea. You also install, operate, and use system integration tools to troubleshoot anomalies, collect and analyze data. You will also Be the Subject Matter Expert regarding the operation and maintenance of the proprietary systems. This position will be onsite in Fullerton, CA.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Plan and setup specific tasks and activities for trainees including preparation of materials and resources aimed at learning knowledge and mastering skills.
Lead and conduct training exercises and provide one-on-one assistance and support.
Monitor, track, and report progress of trainees to leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
Prior experience integrating, testing, and certifying aircraft landing systems.
Minimum of 5 years of experience performing system integration and test on medium sized mission critical systems.
Experience training and mentoring junior team members on technical expertise of landing systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior naval customer experience
This is a temporary position of undetermined length.
The salary range for this role is $50.48 to $106.25. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
