SUMMARY
To collect information pertaining to products, including but not limited to photos, weights, and measurements.
Support the Repair Logistics Coordinator to aid in receiving, analyzing, and distributing all parts incoming from field service, repair depot, customer service, Quality Department, and customers. Contact customers, external or internal, for any additional information to help expedite parts returned and process accordingly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Prioritize and execute the information collection of parts on an initial and recurring basis as necessary
- Administer the procurement, processing, and upkeep of part data
- Upkeep of equipment associated with part data collection
- Act as support for Repair Logistics Coordinator:
- Coordinate the disposition of all parts returned to Yaskawa Motoman. This includes sending parts out for repair, exchange, scrap, etc.
- Enter Customer repair orders for parts designated for repair.
- Enter Sub-contract jobs for parts designated for outsource repair.
- Work with vendors to arrange for the repair of returned parts utilizing the vendors RMA process.
- Authorize Finance to pay invoices for repaired parts when completed and returned from vendor.
- Evaluate returned parts to determine if they are eligible for warranty, return to stock, or exchange credit.
- Enter and process all incoming parts being returned, this will include non-conformed, unused parts from Field Service trips, and all manner of customer returns (warranty, repair, exchange, etc..).
- Follow-up on open orders, customer shipments, order status, and initiate necessary correspondence with the appropriate customer or vendor to resolve issues.
- Facilitate expedited customer repair orders by coordinating with the appropriate vendor and the customer.
- Other duties to support Yaskawa Support Services as required
QUALIFICATIONS

- Familiarity with Windows, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems
- Basic familiarity with photography equipment
- Lift truck experience
- Basic familiarity with identifying mechanical parts
- Detail oriented
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school and four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
