Responsibilities:

Provide front office and medical assistant support including but not limited to patient care, filing, scheduling, registration, insurance verifications, and patient referrals.

· Organizes and maintains a filing system for patient charts, including filing and pulling charts

· Greets patients and visitors

· Initiates a triage for response by medical personnel

· Registers, verifies and updates patient records

· Provides exceptional customer service, responds promptly and appropriately to customer needs

· Maintaining office and medical supplies

· Handles physician requests in a timely manner

· Prepares and sanitizes rooms

Knowledge and Skills:

· Strong computer skills and knowledge of internet software, and Microsoft processing software

· Detail oriented and organized

· Flexible and reliable

· Professional attitude, patience and kindness in all interactions

Requirements

• Medical assistant certification
• Reliable transportation
