<p>Position: Senior Power Bi Developer</p><p>Location: Malaga, Spain (Hybrid 2 days a week onsite)</p><p>Duration: Long Term B2B Contract</p><p></p><p></p><p>Job Description:</p><p>Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that offer actionable insights for business stakeholders.</p><p> • Data Modeling &amp; Visualization: Create and optimize complex data models, develop calculated columns, measures, and KPIs, and ensure seamless integration of data from multiple sources.</p><p> • Database Management: Work extensively with SQL databases, performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks, and optimizing data queries to enhance Power BI performance.</p><p> • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand key performance indicators (KPIs), and translate business needs into technical solutions.</p><p> • Data Governance &amp; Quality: Implement data governance and quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.</p><p> • Performance Optimization: Fine-tune Power BI reports for speed and performance, utilizing best practices in DAX, data modeling, and query optimization.</p><p> • Documentation &amp; Training: Document development processes and provide training and support to end-users as needed.</p><p> </p><p>Qualifications:</p><p> • Experience: 6+ years of experience in Power BI development, including expertise in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.</p><p> • Database Knowledge: Strong background in SQL and database management, with hands-on experience in SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or other database platforms.</p><p> • Technical Skills:</p><p> • Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and M language.</p><p> • Extensive experience with ETL processes and data integration.</p><p> • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.</p><p> • Knowledge of other BI tools and data platforms is a plus.</p><p> • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to translate business requirements into data insights.</p><p> • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data solutions to non-technical stakeholders.</p><p> • Certifications: Power BI certification or other relevant BI or database certifications are a plus.</p><p></p>
