About the role

Perficient has a career opportunity for a Product Owner (with Twilio/Contact Center experience) to join our Custom Product Development business unit. The Product Owner will have complete responsibility for the day-to-day management of the engagement, including all aspects related to managing a development team, resulting in a successful delivery and a satisfied, reference-able client. 

The Product Owner role will focus on leading client interactions with Product Managers and business stakeholders, understanding both client business requirements as well as end-user functional requirements, and may manage multiple product owners that have delivery targeted towards a single product or solution. In situations where a Product Owner is supporting multiple delivery streams, that person has sole responsibility and ownership of the product in its entirety.

  • Lead product vision and strategy for your product team
  • Engage with stakeholders, clients, and product managers in scope definition and requirements refinement
  • Write robust user stories that show your understanding of the product, the technical limitations, personas and acceptance criteria
  • Develop deep knowledge of users, formulating hypotheses & advocating product direction and roadmap
  • Act as the subject matter expert for your product; including awareness of the related technology stack and how the market and our customers use and extract business value from your product(s)
  • Define product roadmaps and drive Planning Increment objectives
  • Assess risks and benefits of product enhancements and gain alignment with stakeholders, clients, and product managers
  • Analyze product metrics and define continuous improvement initiatives to increase the Product’s business value
  • Introduce new approaches and tool sets that will allow the product development team to better understand the solution criteria and requirements
  • 7+ years of working experience as a Product Owner and/or Product Manager
  • 2+ years of consulting industry experience, with strong relationship management, and account management experience
  • Strong contact center background including technologies such as call flows, IVRs, transfers, Twilio chat or contact center chat integration       
  • Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality products
  • Experience working directly with creative team members and development engineers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills who is highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality products
  • Concrete understanding of writing high quality user stories
  • Ability to define high-level business objectives and drive product roadmaps
  • Comfort engaging with executive stakeholders in dialogue regarding product vision and business enablement
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • Wide variety of technical knowledge of various systems (technology).
  • Experience in agile and scrum development organizations
  • Certification - Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) is a plus
  • Experience with identifying and reporting on key performance indicators to help visualize efficacy of product enhancements
  • Expertise in product backlog tools such as Rally, Jira or DevOps
  • Experience with detailed road mapping techniques
  • Experience healthcare is a plus

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974 to $149,880. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
