About the team
The Revenue Operations team is responsible for maximizing yield through supply optimization, driving global ad revenue growth with strategic pricing and packaging, managing global publisher partnerships for ad inventory deals and delivery, and enhancing the efficiency of the ad sales organization by centralizing processes across our data tools and systems. By aligning advertising sales, marketing, product, and client services, the team aims to optimize the monetization of advertising inventory. This involves a blend of strategic planning, data analysis, system and tool utilization, and partnership management.
About the role
Roku is looking for a Sr. Business Automation Manager of Data Strategy to join our expanding Revenue Operations team. This role will focus on building and operationalizing core data assets critical to Roku’s advertising business.
The Sr. Business Automation Manager of Data Strategy will oversee the ideation, development and implementation of data tables which will drive deep understanding of the advertising business. This role demands a quality understanding of the digital/ctv advertising industry and a strong knack for ensuring business outcomes are achieved. A strong ability to distill a problem and build a plan to address it is a must.
The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, and storyteller, of data and data relationships with both stakeholders and leadership. The candidate should possess a powerful sense of ownership over the data and business outcomes it drives. The role calls for expertise with navigating complex existing data landscapes through entity relationship models and self-directed table exploration using SQL. This role requires an individual who is experienced in managing a pipeline of data outcomes which serve an agenda to establish a single source of truth. Experience with Tableau and/or Looker is a major plus. The ideal candidate is comfortable with Salesforce data structures and will take ownership in ensuring high integrity data is borne from CRM. This includes experience with deciphering reporting requirements and ensuring business processes are present which support them.
Building cross-functional relationships is key to success in this role, with core stakeholders spanning Revenue, Product, Engineering, Legal, Sales Analytics, Finance and Accounting. A successful candidate will take a consultative approach with internal stakeholders, effectively navigate ambiguity, and translate complex, tactical needs into actionable plans.
For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $144,000 - $216,000 annually.Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you will be doing
- Leading cross-functional teams to align around a data strategy which spans CRM, OMS, impression/revenue, and cost data.
- Operationalizing business processes which support the integrity of critical data values/sets.
- Fostering adoption of business use cases leveraging data sets you own through Tableau and Looker.
- Developing strong relationships with key business stakeholders to identify current and anticipate future data/reporting needs.
- Partnering with Ad Product and Engineering teams to implement data initiatives and end user application of those initiatives.
- Developing and implementing enablement plans for business personas.
- Drive increased adoption and usage of reporting tools. This includes establishing standardized escalation practices for end users.
