The Boeing Global Talent, Development & Employee Experience organization has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Survey Research Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to support survey research project management, data collection, operations, data analysis and results visualization and delivery, ensuring the smooth execution of our survey research initiatives.

The Survey Research Specialist will support all aspects of survey research administration, management, execution and operations, including the management of survey implementation, data collection, data analysis, and survey data dashboard administration. This role involves defining project scope, developing and managing project timelines, managing resources, and ensuring research deliverables meet quality standards. The specialist will also analyze complex survey data sets and generate actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Additionally, the specialist will provide training and support to colleagues on using the survey research platform, troubleshoot technical issues related to survey deployment and data collection, and manage escalations related to survey operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical experience using survey research platforms (e.g., Qualtrics), a strong understanding of survey methodologies, and experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative survey data.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the execution of enterprise and On-Demand research survey projects using the survey research platform (Qualtrics).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define survey objectives, requirements, and project timelines.
  • Continuously improve the survey platform user experience and manage the survey research lifecycle, including survey planning, testing, deployment, data collection, and dashboard access.
  • Develop and maintain interactive data dashboards for effective survey data visualization and decision-making.
  • Ensure optimal data reporting by managing the organization’s hierarchy within the survey platform.
  • Oversee data collection operations, ensuring timely delivery of results from all-employee surveys, and monitor survey progress by providing regular updates and addressing any issues.
  • Engage in weekly meetings with our survey platform provider Technical Account Manager to discuss ongoing survey projects, address technical challenges, and gather insights to enhance survey execution and platform utilization.
  • Analyze survey data and generate actionable reports to support strategic decision-making, while maintaining survey databases and documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on using the survey research platform, troubleshoot technical issues related to survey deployment and data collection, and manage escalations related to survey operations.
  • Track and maintain a repository of current and historical survey questions, as well as each question’s basic psychometric properties.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in survey methodologies.
  • Conduct post-survey evaluations to assess effectiveness and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to gather feedback and address any issues that arise during the survey process.
  • Travel up to 20% to other Boeing sites.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s Degree or higher in a Quantitative Field (Operational Research, Data Science, Quantitative Social Science, Psychometrics, Computer science, Economics, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Related Field)
  • Experience programming and managing research and data dashboards on survey platforms
  • Experience in data querying languages, such as SQL or Teradata
  • Experience with at least one statistical program (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS, or Python)
  • Experience overseeing and managing the execution and operations of complex survey research projects
  • Experience leading descriptive and predictive survey data analyses

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience with data mining, inferential statistics, and familiarity with more advanced techniques (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing, etc.).
  • Experience with Qualtrics
  • Strong ability to synthesize
