The Advisor, Maintenance Technician provides proactive leadership, direction, single point accountability and technical expertise required to achieve and sustain optimum reliability, maintainability, and useful life for the BaristaBot fleet. The primary role of this position is to improve asset/capacity reliability through the elimination of repetitive failures, technical support of the maintenance function and the training of new technicians to our team, local as well as remote.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Resolve day-to-day technical problems on the Tap2Craft unit, and ensures equipment and machinery compliance with production procedures and process specifications.
  • Repair and maintain production equipment, machinery or instruments to ensure that it functions reliably and complies with process specifications for distribution into the field.
  • Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions etc. to minimize disruptions to the operating fleet.
  • Maintain maintenance records so that recurring problems can be identified and addressed in future complications.
  • Maintenance of the asset hierarchy/inventory, bills of materials used, technical library for service, etc.
  • Advise and educate, provide training in, and implement continuous improvement in the service operations of the company.
  • Develop and implement changes to equipment maintenance plans based on failure modes, historical data, reliability principles and best practices.
  • Help to develop short and long-term continuous improvement plans to mitigate equipment failures.
  • Help with the designing of maintenance SOPs, to enable employees to perform maintenance tasks and minor repairs.

 Qualifications & Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, preferred.
  • 3 years of equipment reliability experience, preferred.
  • Mechanical/Electrical experience maintaining production equipment in a continuous production environment.
  • Plumbing experience
  • Demonstrated Experience in Structure of a Maintenance Organization with implementation of Maintenance Planning tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in an ISO or documented environment.
  • Experience with performance management maintenance metrics for Preventative and Predictive Maintenance.
  • Experience with Industrial Electrical Writing, Mechanical/Electrical Devices, Circuits, Robotics, PLC and computer controlled.
  • Experience with computer driven maintenance and planning software.
