Kids Service Leader (STL)

- The Kids Service Leader provides leadership and oversight for Gateway Kids ministry – children birth to 6th grade – and helps kids have fun while learning about God.
Principle Job Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and oversight for kids ministry during weekend services
- Holds some weekday hours for room/service preparation, team scheduling, and rotating weekly oversight/mentoring
- Oversees all Gateway Kids curriculum implementation
- Maintain a working knowledge and implementation of Gateway Kids Policies & Procedures
- Facilitate ongoing training of kids team members
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and retaining team members
- Responsible for ordering supplies and toy upkeep for all rooms
- Oversee the Team – communication, one-on-one meetings, and care
- Schedule teams for weekend services
- Oversee check-in area
- Responsible for people management and confrontational conversations during the weekend services.
- Plan and prepare for quarterly child dedication services
- Attend all curriculum and check-in meetings as requested by the Central Team
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by Campus Pastor or Central Team

d) Physical Capabilities
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Sit/stand long periods of time
- Occasionally kneel, or crouch
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
