In this role, the Senior DevOps Engineer will collaborate with a team of expert professionals to accomplish development objectives and oversee software releases.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Key Duties and Responsibilities</b></p> <p>· Performs all DevOps activities, including the implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and verification of product builds and packaging to provide quality production builds</p> <p>· Understands and employs best practices</p> <p>· Monitors services and workflows</p> <p>· Actively engages in transformation projects of the DevOps services</p> <p>· Works closely with development to adjust builds and packaging to changing product requirements</p> <p>· Anticipates future needs and technology evolution and proposes and participates in implementation of new solutions</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience</b></p> <p>· BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 5-7 years’ of work experience</p> <p>· Working experience with source code version tools (git) and automated continuous integration software, such as GitHub, Jenkins</p> <p>· Strong troubleshooting mentality</p> <p>· Scripting language experience (bash, python)</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Preferred Qualifications and Skills</b></p> <p>· Possesses thorough knowledge of Linux operating system</p> <p>· Experience with containers and on-prem/cloud container clusters</p> <p>· Experience with configuration management solutions (ansible, puppet, etc.)</p> <p>· Experience with alerting and monitoring solutions (grafana, prometheus, icinga, etc.)</p> <p>· Experience with code analysis solutions (sonarqube, coverity, etc.)</p> <p>· Good communication and interpersonal skills</p> <p>· Proven ability to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team</p> <p> </p> <p>At Ansys, we know that changing the world takes vision, skill, and each other.
