Summary of Job Duties:

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) Program Faculty member provides pediatric specialty expertise, instruction, mentorship, and academic support within the UAMS College of Nursing Department of Graduate Studies and Faculty Affairs. This faculty member collaborates with pediatric specialty faculty and colleagues across College of Nursing programs to deliver high-quality graduate nursing education.

This is a full-time, 12-month tenure-track or non-tenure-track faculty appointment that may be based at the UAMS Little Rock or Northwest Arkansas campus. The primary focus is teaching and mentoring, with additional contributions to the College of Nursing’s research, scholarship, service, and clinical practice missions.

Upon approval, the selected candidate may be eligible for a practice agreement that allows a percentage of the faculty contract to be supported through clinical practice.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in nursing.

• Current, unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
