Clinic - Medical Assistant

Come and join Prime Healthcare's Medical Group team as a Floating Medical Assistant for our Southland clinics! Medical Assistant will Float as needed between the following locations:

• Romeoville - 500 S Weber Rd Romeoville, IL
• Joliet - 301 N. Madison St. Joliet, IL
• Plainfield - 16615 Illinois Rte 59, Plainfield , IL
• Aurora - 1315 N. Highland Ave, Aurora , IL

Work Schedule:

• Monday -Friday and MA will be required to be available 1 Saturday per month if needed.
• 8-hour schedule with start times between 7:30-8:30am per clinic with closing times between 5:00-6:00pm 

Responsibilities

This Position is responsible for administrative as well as clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Tasks may include appointment scheduling, answering, and returning patient calls, and coordinating daily office activities.  This position conveys a positive image of the office and provides information as needed to ensure patients are aware of all benefits of the office.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.     High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.

2.     Medical Assistant Certification, preferred.

3.     Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

4.     Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

5.     Work experience in health care preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $17.00 to $24.62. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
