Responsibilities

• Lead the German finance team, overseeing 7-8 FTEs in Germany, covering accounting, controlling & receivable management
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and craft precise financial forecasts.
• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements.
• Present insightful reports on financial performance and key metrics to company management, offering strategic recommendations.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital and implementing effective cash management strategies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, championing automation efforts to streamline operations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team, leveraging automation to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the group finance team to align strategies with overall corporate financial goals and standards.
• Showcase strong financial modeling skills.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of GAAP, encompassing IFRS and HGB.

Qualifications

• You possess a degree in business administration, specializing in finance, accounting, or controlling, or hold a comparable qualification such as an accountant. Your expertise in commercial and tax law is particularly impressive.
• You bring several years of experience in finance and management roles to the table.
• You are known for your structured approach and goal-oriented actions, coupled with a high sense of responsibility and cost consciousness. Additionally, you possess robust analytical and conceptual abilities.
• You demonstrate excellent comprehension skills, adept at tackling complex problems. Your ability to assert yourself, work independently, proactively, and focus on solutions is noteworthy.
• You excel in communication, teamwork, and maintain an open-minded attitude.
• You are experienced in Accounting and Consolidation, showcasing strong communication and presentation skills in both German and English.
• You have proven analytical skills, particularly in areas like variance analysis, and profit and loss statements.
• Your background includes high growth or start-up experience, which is highly preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Netsuite is an added advantage.
