What is Florida PALM?

The Florida Planning, Accounting, and Ledger Management (PALM) Project is replacing the State of Florida’s current accounting and cash management systems with an integrated, enterprise financial management solution that will allow the State to organize, define, and standardize its financial management processes.

Requirement:

Seven (7) years of experience in contract management and administration, or related experience is required. Or a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of contract management and administration experience may be used as an alternative for the years of required experience.

 

Additional requirements:

• Holds current Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) certification.
• Managed or administered contracts in excess of $500,000.
• Supported at least one ITN solicitation.
• Experience using Florida Statute and Rule relating to solicitations and contract management and administration.

 

Preferences:

• Holds a current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Holds current Florida Certified Contract Negotiator (FCCN) certification.
• Contract management and procurement experience.

 

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

 

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00.

 

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
