Description:

Position Summary:

Responsible for daily activities in all imaging modalities at four locations. Includes Radiology,  Ultrasound, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT Scan, Breast Clinic, PET Scan, Film Room, Reception and Transport.  Coordinates staffing, budgets, delivery of patient care, physician’s relations, quality, staff 
competence, departmental safety, and compliance with regulatory agencies and state health department.  Accountable for financial performance, customer service, employee engagement, and quality initiatives. Responsible for supervision and development of modality supervisors and RIS/PACS coordination

What the Director of Imaging Services will need:

• Graduate of an approved school in Radiologic Technology, preferred.
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Certified by the Society of Nuclear Medicine, preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively more responsible Imaging Supervisory experience is required.
• Well developed communication skills, both written and oral.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
