We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager for New Product Introduction to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the successful introduction of new products from the engineering phase to scaled operations . The ideal candidate will have experience with drone systems, general robotics, and advanced AI/ML imagery analytics. You will have strong project management skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Collaborate cross functionally to gather stakeholder requirements, develop, and execute comprehensive project plans outlining key milestones, tasks, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements for operationalizing new products
Develop, document, and implement operational methods for new products to establish standards for deployment globally
Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, product, engineering, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor and report on project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and budget
Coordinate new products and releases by providing testing procedures, creation of process documentation, and hands-on training with the operations team during product infancy
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables for new products
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and priorities
Coordinate feedback and updates between operations, product, and engineering
Resource Allocation and Management:
Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to ensure projects are delivered within scope and budget
Identify resource constraints and work with stakeholders to allocate resources appropriately to meet project objectives
Lead sourcing, negotiation, and contracting for the procurement of resources and supplies to successfully bring new products to market
Quality Assurance, Safety and Compliance:
Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure that new products meet defined specifications and regulatory requirements.
Experience performing personnel risk assessments and RAMS documentation
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address any quality issues or compliance concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in new product introduction processes.
Drive initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry-related experience required
- Proven experience (3 years) in project management, with a focus on new product introductions or product development.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
