Job Description
Your Career
This position is responsible for developing the various Rest API services Cloud Config Manager. Along with this, you will be working on exposing the APIs on public facing API gateway services to thousands of customers across multiple regions. You will work with a team of talented engineers across multiple teams to collaborate and drive the functional integrations. You will be part of the team that is central to the Cloud Config Manager who takes care of onboarding, cloud microservices infrastructure, scalable distributed systems, functional integrations. We are seeking an Engineer with a passion for cloud services and aptitude for building scalable distributed systems.
Your Impact
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications delivering high-availability and performance
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Communicate with devops and cross functional team to deliver the project smoothly
- Willing to take full ownership and proactively communicate across multiple functional teams for smooth execution of the deliverables
Qualifications
Your Experience
- 2+ years of experience working on developing Rest API service and Cloud Microservices
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent or equivalent military experience required
- Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
- Ability to think abstractly and solve complex problems
- Must Have Advance knowledge of any server side programming language - GO, Javascript(ES6), Node JS is preferred
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex APIs - REST, streaming, webhooks
- Knowledge of SQL & NoSQL (including mysql & dynamodb) and strong database modeling skills
- Experience with queueing/pub-sub technologies (Redis, RabbitMQ etc)
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes , Git is preferred
- Familiarity with Micro Service architecture is preferred
- Understanding of code vulnerabilities (security issues, type-safe code, sql injections, XSS etc.)
