We are seeking an experienced Statistical Analysis System (SAS) Business Intelligence (BI) Programmer to join our team and support our customer. This resource will provide analytical and technical services to support the DHA Pharmacy Operations Division's (POD) mission in supporting the Military Health System pharmacy benefit.

This is a 100% REMOTE position.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide end user SAS support
  • Utilize SAS Information Map Studio and Web Tools to develop multi-user web reporting
  • Utilize SAS Enterprise Guide (EG), Information Map Studio and Web Tools to develop and maintain automated analysis system for recurring clinical reports
  • Utilize SAS EG, Information Map Studio and Web Tools to develop and maintain clinical and cost performance monitoring tools for multiple DHA levels
  • Create, maintain, and update a SAS Informational Dashboard with advanced filters, elements on a dynamic data source
  • Develop and distribute customized report templates and database elements using SAS
  • Create Standard Operation Procedures for all SAS BI support projects and programs

Work Experience:

  • At least three (3) years' experience using SAS Enterprise Guide (EG)
  • At least three (3) years' experience with medical and/or pharmacy data

Job Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, positive attitude with good listening skills and high integrity
  • Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity
  • Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action, giving regard to the impact on both the client and company
  • The ability to work well independently or with a team

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Certified SAS BI Content Developer preferred

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent communication, verbal and writing skills
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.

Travel:

  • Willing to travel occasionally, as needed

Environmental Requirements:

  • Remote work in a private and suitable location
  • Private high efficiency home internet access is required
  • Private high efficiency home phone or mobile phone service is required
  • Standard Monday through Friday day schedule, with some extended hours at times
  • While in the office, may be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds
