We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, driving talent acquisition efforts to identify and secure exceptional talent that serves as a force multiplier for our organization. This individual will partner closely with business leaders, stakeholders, and HR Business Partners to deliver tailored recruiting solutions that align with company goals and foster innovation. As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to define and enable the world’s best quantum computers and keep IonQ at the forefront of the industry.
Responsibilities
- Be knowledgeable about our business and able to highlight the amazing impact our quantum computers will have on the world.
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders and hiring managers, aligning recruiting strategies with long-term workforce planning and immediate hiring needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR Business Partners, People Ops and Finance Partners to ensure a seamless and holistic approach to talent acquisition.
- Proactively source and engage passive candidates using creative and data-driven talent acquisition strategies.
- Develop, execute, and refine sourcing strategies that prioritize diversity, innovation, and best-in-class expertise.
- Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle, from candidate screening to interviews and offers.
- Create and utilize talent pipelines for critical roles, ensuring readiness to meet future business demands.
- Experience contributing to the refinement of recruiting processes/operations and programs aligned to the talent function.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by delivering data-driven insights on candidate markets, hiring trends, and competitive positioning.
- Set a high bar for candidate experience, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects our commitment to excellence, professionalism, and innovation.
You'd be a good fit with :
- 8+ years of technical recruiting experience
- Experience working in-house at a start-up or tech company
- Experience partnering with recruiters and hiring partners across different functions
- A sense of urgency to deliver for the business while also effectively working together as part of a team
- Proven ability to utilize innovative sourcing methods to attract and engage with a diverse pool of niche talent
- Experience managing multiple, competing priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Proven ability to effectively manage relationships across all levels of the organization
- Create, build and maintain a solid pipeline of applicants for a variety of roles in our teams

Location: This is a hybrid role based at our office located in Bothell, WA.

The approximate base salary range for this position is $134,680 - $169,123.
Compensation will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Posted base salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available. Beyond base salary, total compensation includes a variable bonus and equity component and a range of benefit options found on our career site at ionq.co/jobs. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided when a candidate receives an offer of employment.
