     Experian Consumer Services is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Experian Insurance Services team (formerly known as Gabi). Our team is on a mission to make the process of finding the best home and auto insurance easy, straightforward, and transparent. We’re serious about building and using technology to save our customers money, time, and hassle, and we are looking for an experienced technical product manager who is just as passionate about helping consumers improve their financial lives as we are. 

     Expanding our automation tools for insurance quoting and enrollment is a key growth driver for our business, and this highly impactful role will operate in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment. Job Description

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll be contributing towards significant, product-defining features within your first few weeks, overseeing features from wireframes to finished product. Specifically, this role will focus on optimizing carrier integrations via APIs and bots and drive enhancements to support business growth
  • Technical acumen and attention to detail are musts for this role, and you will leverage your product sense to optimize existing quoting engine and continue to improve KPIs in this critical area
  • You thrive as someone who learns quickly, works well independently and with others, and above all gets stuff done.  Our team moves fast and is not afraid of failure if it teaches us something
  • You’ll be developing deep expertise in key aspects of our product, the personal insurance market, and competitive landscape over your first few months, establishing yourself as a product leader on the team
  • You’ll drive ruthless prioritization to ensure we’re shipping products that are delivering value to our users along with performance metrics.
  • You are a strong advocate for data-driven decision-making and user research.

Qualifications

What your background looks like

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with a proven track record of building and shipping technical products in FinTech or InsureTech
  • Experience with building ML models to improve user experience is a plus
  • Experience in managing conversion funnels, onboarding, advisory, and transactional flows
  • Must be an expert in making decisions using insights and data - but also comfortable to make difficult decisions under ambiguity and time pressure
  • Results-oriented, willing and able to be in the driver seat
  • Master’s degree is a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above.  Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education.  This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
