Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly Partnership Financials and quarterly BOD Financials
• Responsible for the coordination and/or preparation of monthly close and reporting schedules for our consolidating and non consolidating entities
• Assist with the consolidation of the RSNs
• Prepare and record monthly manual journal entries and upload into the general ledger 
• Prepare and document monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Assist with the internal and external audit process, including review of audit support to ensure accuracy
• Assist in process documentation of SOX controls 
• Prepare quarter end data requests ensuring timely and accurate submission to NBCU Corp and NBC Local HQ
• Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency and optimization
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
• SAP Decentralized Maintainer for the portfolio (approve SAP structure changes, open/close accounts, profit centers and cost centers)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Minimum two (2) years hands on accounting or finance experience

Additional Requirements:

• Proficient with Microsoft Windows environment and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in the use of SAP or similar accounting software
• Must be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
• Ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities is a must
