Accounts Payable Supervisor

<p><u><b>Summary</b></u></p><p><u><b>Job Description:</b></u></p><p><i><b>Baptist Health is looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team! This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN</b></i></p><p></p><p>The Accounts Payable Supervisor is a first-line managerial level supervising the Accounts Payable Customer Service team, Supplier Content Coordinators, Travel &amp; Expense and Disbursements.  Supervises, trains, develops, and motivates Account Payable staff.  Establishes tasks for the team, delegates workload, and receives guidance and oversight from Manager. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures.  Assists in compiling and generating IRS Form 1099s. Maintains strong working relationships with employees, suppliers, and other departments.</p><p><span> </span></p><p><i><b>Qualifications:</b></i></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree with three years' experience required. Four years additional experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.</p></li><li><p>In-depth knowledge of accounting principles focusing particularly on accounts <span>payable procedures</span> and best practices.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on management approach with ability to train and mentor applying <span>strong attention</span> to detail and accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Experience generating 1099s and reporting to the IRS is required.</p></li><li><p>Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office <span>Suite particularly</span> Excel with ability to perform VLookups and create pivot tables.</p></li><li><p>PeopleSoft and/or Oracle Cloud experience preferred but not required</p></li><li><p><span>Past supervisory</span> experience preferred but not required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><span>      </span> </span></p><p></p><h3><i>If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!</i><span> </span></h3><p></p><h3><span>Baptist Health is an <i>Equal Employment Opportunity</i> employer.</span></h3>
