We are currently seeking a Senior Engagement/ Data Governance Manager - Remote US Position to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

Day to Day / Job Function

Documents client organization's direction, structure, business processes and requirements as they relate to creation and maintenance of data.

Analyzes business objectives to understand the governance needs and to determine how data governance can best function to fulfill those needs.

Identifies cross impact to other systems/initiatives/capabilities.

Proposes solutions to problems and considers timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing client needs.

Understands data governance framework and is able to clearly articulate roles, goals, and timelines.

Adheres to and facilitates project standards.

Creates, consolidates, and presents documents relating to use cases, policies, processes, standards, and guidelines, maintaining them throughout the project, including traceability back to requirements.

Provides a business or process perspective during design reviews.

Participates in change control process throughout the project.

Proactively carries out project support /administrative functions.

 

Basic Qualifications:

10+ years leading successful projects in the data space focused on helping clients with Cloud Adoption, Digital Transformation, Data Governance. 

8+ years experience supporting an operational data governance program.

5+ years of experience building, leading, coaching, hiring and managing a matrixed and cross-functional teams.

5+ years of experience in a program complying with external data governance regulations or similar internal policies is required.

 

Preferred Experience:

Possesses knowledge of data governance principles.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Experience working with all levels of client resources preferred.

Experience in systems implementation, business analysis, and/or project management

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
