What We Offer 

This is an on-call position, which means it is a part-time, hourly role. This position will work an average of about 25 hours per week and no more than 39 hours per week. The pay range for this position is $22.01 to $33.02/hour. New hires are typically brought into the organization between $22.01 and $27.51/hour based on experience and education. This position is eligible to enroll in the City and County of Denver’s 457b retirement plan. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits. Oncall positions may have routine or variable work schedules.  

 

Location & Schedule 

The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. In this position you can expect to work an average of about 25 hours per week. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days. 

 

In this position you can expect to work on site at 201 W Colfax Avenue in downtown Denver for a minimum of two days per week, with more days as needed for in-person job duties.

The City and County of Denver’s Community Planning and Development Department (CPD) is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a part-time on call Administrative Support Assistant position in our Policy and Planning Division.   

 

As an Administrative Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and expertise by providing administrative support to meetings of appointed boards and commissions and by conducting required public notification for a variety of processes, including rezonings and various historic preservation applications. Work is typically performed under the direction and mentorship of team leaders and project managers in a collaborative, team-based environment. 

 

Key responsibilities include:  

  • Providing administrative support at meetings of appointed boards and commissions (Denver Planning Board and Landmark Preservation Commission), including duties such as managing public comment and board motions, as well as troubleshootin
